  I travel a great deal for work and always seek out "mom and pop" coffee houses to avoid the sterile, corporate feel of chains. Unfortunately, most of the independently owned places fall into the same generic trap. HOWEVER....Grover's Mill Coffee is EXACTLY what a "mom and pop" business should be. The second you walk in, INDIVIDUALITY screams out it's uniqueness. And the tea (Ironically I don't drink coffee) is as unique and great and "personal" as the decor. For full disclosure, I am an old hippie and love the "one of a kind" versus the "factory." I wish they existed near me in New York. There's a weird paradox that they exist in a Strip Mall but this place is a GEM. I wish every high school and college student and millennial would come here to discover the difference between a true experience and a manufactured cookie-cutter experience. This place is AMAZING on so many levels. My FAVORITE place that I sadly live too far from.

  My first stop whenever I am "home" is Grover's Mill. It is far and away the best coffee you could find. Their attention to detail in every single aspect of their shop (including coffee ICE CUBES in their iced coffee to make sure it's doesn't become watered down as you drink it!) is incredible. I primarily live in Manhattan, where there are at least 4-5 coffee shops in every two-block radius, every day I wish I could have just ONE of them be Grover's Mill. It's also not just the exceptional coffee (and food) that they offer- the family that runs the business is honestly the best part of the experience. They are so kind and communicative and even always remember me! It is so obvious that they absolutely love what they do. This is a MUST for anyone in the area!
